A 10-year-old student was stabbed this morning in South Auckland, at Pacific Christian School.
A school manager said a fight broke out between intermediate aged students, and one student was said to have been stabbed with scissors. He received critical injuries.
According to Inspector Shawn Rutene, investigations are still underway and he will not comment on whether or not there was in fact a weapon used in this stabbing incident.
“At this stage the inquiry is continuing. The CIB are here. There will be quite a bit of information to be gathered and until that time, the information that you have now is all that I can give you.”
