15 teams turned out for the National Secondary Schools Kī-o-rahi tournament held in Whanganui over the weekend.
A repeat of last year's final saw Gisborne Boys and Girls take on Te Wharekura o Rākaumangamanga, but it was Rākaumangamanga who emerged the victors this year, winning 40-12.
