Advice from Japan to help Highlanders' performance

Advice from a couple of the more well-credited coaches in world rugby has filtered through to the Highlanders in a bid to improve the team's performance in next year's Super Rugby competition.

Jamie Joseph and Tony Brown recently spent time with Eddie Jones and Robbie Deans in Japan.

Highlanders head coach Jamie Joseph says they were fully immersed with Jones' Japanese national team and Deans' Panasonic Wild Knights.

The Highlanders have started pre-season without their All Blacks and a number of injured players.
