The bagpipes are a unique choice of musical instrument for a young Māori boy, however three years ago, that's just what Teriri Kawiti of Ngāpuhi and Ngāti Haua chose to do.
Now he's practising for an upcoming trip to China with the Manukau Pipe and Drums Band.
