Big win for Tiny

DJ Cameron Murphy is famous in the Bay of Plenty, better known by his nickname 'Tiny.'

After many years struggling with his health and obesity, Tiny has turned to boxing to make real and sustainable changes in the hope of living a healthier lifestyle.

Tiny's on a mission to live healthy after his struggle with obesity. An old leg injury put Tiny out of playing sport for five months, which led to a major setback with his health.

Tiny once clocked the scales at 287kg. Since training for the boxing event, he's lost 10kg and hopes to lose more in order to get down to 140kg.

So he took up the challenge to take to the ring. He went three rounds with Paul Northover, lead singer of Tasty Brown, and he won.

Tiny and a few close friends recently started a 12-week challenge called the Big Boy Challenge, which he hopes to introduce to others also wanting to lose weight.
