Black Ferns beat Canada 20 - 10

The Black Ferns beat Canada 20-10 in Dublin early this morning, to remain the world number 1 women's team.

This is the 12th consecutive win for New Zealand against Canada, and they will face the side again next August in pool play at the Women's Rugby World Cup in Ireland.

Selica Winiata crossed the line twice and Aotearoa Mata'u scored one try.  Kendra Cocksedge kicked over a penalty and a conversion.  At half time the NZ team lead by a try and a penalty kick to keep Canada scoreless, 8 - 0.

This is the second win for the Black Ferns on their northern tour, they beat England 25 - 20 last weekend and will wrap their tour this weekend with a test against Ireland. It will be a test between world number 2 and number 3 this weekend, England vs Canada held in London.
