Boardroom stoush holds up treaty settlement

An estimated $8mil of Treaty claims funding is being held up by a boardroom stoush.

That's the claim from the Crown Forestry Rental Trust (CFRT) Chairperson, Angela Foulkes who spoke exclusively to Te Kāea today.

This stemmed earlier in the year with legal proceedings actioned by the NZ Māori Council and two of its Trustees, against the CFRT who alleged Sir Eddie Durie had a direct conflict of interest in trust matters concerning Te Paparahi o Te Raki claims.
