'The Bradas' win gold at 2015 World Hip Hop Dance Championship

Harrah’s Resort in California was at full capacity over the last few days with over 3500 hip-hop dancers from over 50 countries around the world participating in the 2015 World Hip Hop Dance Championships.

New crew on the scene ‘The Bradas’ from Auckland wowed audiences and judges taking first place in the adult crew division.  Dancer Jackson Tuarae has posted on social media saying “So proud to be a part of the Bradas and bring the gold home for New Zealand. I respect every crew so much and thank you to everybody for the support, that's Bradas! so much love ‪#‎teamNZ ‪#‎hhi2015 ‪#‎thebradas‪ #‎IDCO”

World famous New Zealand dancer Parris Goebel took 4 crews to the Hip Hop World Championships including mega crew The Royal Family, which came in at second place after Lock’n’Lol from Korea.

Japan and The Philippines showed the world what they could do placing three times across the board each, but the standout performance for 2015 were Kings United from India who showed the world their Indian style.

Bronze – Kings United (India)

Mega Crew:

Gold – Lock’n’Lol (Korea)

Silver – The Royal Family (New Zealand)
