Breakers still top of the table

In round 15 of the ANBL competition, it took a minute for the Breakers to score, showing this game was going to be about dividing the defence.

The Breakers' defence caused Adelaide to make a number of silly mistakes at the start, and the 36ers were left scoreless for nearly half of the first quarter, until this shot.

However, approaching half-time, the scores were near even, and the sides went into half-time at 38-all.

The Breakers broke equal ground with a devastating third quarter run the 36ers couldn't match, scoring 24 points to Adelaide's mere 10.

In the final quarter, the Breakers resumed play from the third stanza, doing everything right on both sides of the court.

Mika Vukona scored 16 points to help his team win: 84-66.

The Breakers will host the Sydney Kings at home this Thursday.
