Casey Kopua to return to the court

The Northern Mystics come off a bye to still lead the NZ Conference in the ANZ Championships, but the Waikato Magic are hot on their tail, trailing in second place.

It's a top-of-the-table clash between the two teams on Monday, and with their last match ending in a draw, both teams will want the win.

The Mystics only have one aim next Monday.

When asked "What do you want next Monday?"  Catherine Latu replied, "We want the win."

A win will see the Mystics remain on top of the table of the NZ Conference in the ANZ Championship competition, a loss will see the Magic stay in the top two.

Latu says, "It's a clash between the two top teams in New Zealand, what do you expect in this match?"

The main talk this week has been about the return of Silver Fern captain Casey Kopua, who injured her knee last year.

Casey Kopua says, "I do want to get out there but I don't want to go out there too soon."

While Leana de Bruin says, "To me she looks 100%."

The Mystics have their own troubles, Laura Langman left the court with a hip strain two rounds ago, but used last week's bye to recover.

When these sides met in Rotorua in round six, the Mystics came from six goals down in the final quarter to tie the match 45-45.

Next Monday we'll see if Casey will take the court and help her team to victory.
