Challenging win for Chiefs against Blues

The Blues were desperate for a win but the Chiefs weren't going to make it easy for them in Hamilton.

It was the Chiefs who scored the first try of the match in front of their home crowd.

While the Blues worked hard to get close to the Chiefs' try line during the first half, small mistakes cost them in the end and they trailed behind the Chiefs 10-3.

It only took six minutes for the Blues to score their first try in the match and equal the scores at 10-all.

The Blues were granted a penalty to lead the match. But the Chiefs came back just minutes later to equal the scores once more.  It wasn't long before the Chiefs scored another try and they extended their lead with a penalty.

The Blues clawed their way back with a penalty of their own. But it wasn't enough to beat the Chiefs, who won 23-16 overall.
