Council voting papers out tomorrow

Did you know that the first ballots to vote for council will arrive at your home tomorrow, and what is the forecast on how many people will actually vote in Auckland?

A list of candidates and their catch phrases in the race to be elected as mayor or members of local boards.

While some don't even know about the upcoming elections, others are part of families who are proactive voters.

In the last Auckland Council elections, around 480,000 voters turned out, despite there being nearly a million registered voters.

This means less than 50% of Aucklanders voted.

There are 20 days left to post your votes and have a say on who fills these positions of power in Auckland.
