Fog Cannons adopted to prevent crime

Fog Cannons are the latest devices in crime prevention technology. They have proven to be an effective deterrent to crime by creating a no-go area for offenders.

Last year, the Government set aside $1.8 million to assist at-risk businesses who could benefit from these devices.

Police Minister Stuart Nash has reviewed the criteria to make the funding more accessible to businesses in need.
