Former All Black Stormin' Norman dies of heart attack

Sad news strikes again for rugby fans as another former All Black has passed.  Norman Berryman, also known as "Stormin Norman", suffered a fatal heart attack yesterday in Western Australia.

Berryman represented Northland, Chiefs, Blues, he was a three-time Super 12 champion with the Crusaders and played one test for the All Blacks.

Berryman had moved to Australia about 11 years ago, first to Sydney before settling in Western Australia.

Just a week ago, Berryman was in Europe and played in a commemorative match honouring the late former All Black, Jerry Collins, who was lost to a tragic car crash.

Tributes have started to flow for Berryman from rugby fans all over Australasia.

In a Blues press conference today, new Blues coach Tana Umaga paid tribute to "Big Normy Berryman", and explained how it's been a tough couple of weeks for him personally with the passing of his relative Jerry Collins, and now, Norman Berryman.

Stormin Norman died at age 42, and is survived by his six children.
