The death of 16-year-old Richard Keremeta who died tragically after an incident at the local hotspot in Raglan has shocked the community to its core. Police have not yet released the name of the boy, but it was disclosed by those who knew him.

It is understood the boy jumped from this side of the bridge and floated to this side of the bridge, but he then went missing underwater for 10-15 minutes.
The death of Keremeta has been referred to the Coroner.
