Gemma McCaw retires from the Black Sticks

Māori hockey player Gemma McCaw has released a statement saying she is retiring from the Black Sticks to pursue another pathway.

This decisions follows her not being selected to compete in the Oceania Cup that will be held in Sydney this month.

McCaw has played 276 games for New Zealand and has scored a total of 71 goals since starting out in 2008.
