Hato Paora student scouted by South Sydney Rabbitohs

15-year-old Hato Paora student Joseph Los'e is the latest phenomenon to be scouted by NRL Club South Sydney Rabbitohs.

But what makes his story unique, is he's one of five boys who went to Te Pi'ipi'inga Kākano Mai i Rangiātea Kura Kaupapa Māori in Taranaki, and all of them have been picked up by NRL clubs.

Second-five Joseph Los'e is a talented rugby player, but it's league that is his real passion.

It's a dream that is becoming reality for this talented 15-year-old, as he follows in the footsteps of older brother PJ Los'e, who is already in the Rabbitohs Under 20s development squad.

He'll be trialling with the Harold Matt's team as well as being reunited with another two former Pi'ipi'nga school mates over there, brothers Mawene Hiroti and Haimona Hiroti.

While another school mate Paora Noble was picked up by the Titans.

In recent years, the Rabbitohs have been premiership contenders, so Joseph will be committed to working his way up through the Rabbitoh ranks with the ultimate goal to play alongside his brother at the top grade.
