Judges officially named to replace Moon and Kills

Shelton Woolright and Natalie Bassingthwaighte will replace the vacant X-Factor judges seats left by Willy Moon and Natalia Kills after they were removed from the show following claims of bullying.

Woolright, drummer for rock act ‘I Am Giant’ was one of several names lighting up Twitter this morning.

Natalie Bassingthwaighte, an Australian recording artist, actress, and television personality isn’t new to judging, she was a judge on X Factor Australia.

Bassingthwaighte will mentor the boys and Woolright will mentor the groups.

Moon and Kills have been pinned under the spotlight following their controversial outburst during Sunday's live show, where they verbally abused contestant Joe Irvine.  The couple have now travelled back to Los Angeles both seen dressed in black and wearing sunglasses.

According to Kills, “I feel like everyone needs to put the idea of it being a manufactured conspiracy theory behind them, there's really nothing to it.”

"I love my husband with all of my heart, we'll stick together no matter what. There are many sides to this story and I am not about to get an entire industry in trouble that has been going on for years and years entertaining the masses,” Says Kills.

The harsh comments expressed by the duo on the reality show created a social media out-roar with thousands of people including NZ superstar ‘Lord’ supporting contestant Joe Irvine.

With the judging seats now filled, only time will tell if the new judges have what it takes to regain the confidence from the shows viewers.
