Today marks an important milestone in the battle for Ihumātao with the arrival of King Tuheitia Potatau Te Wherowhero Te Tuawhitu. The Māori King was flanked by nearly 1,000 Kīngitanga supporters as he was welcomed onto Ihumātao this morning.
The King's spokesperson Rahui Papa told those gathered that the key messages were unity and a pathway to resolution.
