Largest turnout of Māori fans at Armageddon Expo

Armageddon was back in Auckland over the long weekend, with its hundreds of devotees. It was the biggest turnout the event has ever seen and organisers say it’s also been the largest turnout of Māori.

It's a place somewhere between reality and your favourite Sci-fi or fantasy movie.  Close to 50,000 people entered its doors over the long weekend.

Armageddon has become bigger and better every year since its first show in 1995.

There were movie and television characters from popular programmes and films.

Wrestling was another crowd-pleaser, with more Māori taking part in this year’s event than ever before.

Armageddon is the only place where you wear clothes like Star Boy.  If you didn't get a chance to check it out, you will have to wait until next year.
