Mannering reappointed Warriors skipper

Simon Mannering has been reconfirmed as captain of the Warriors for this year's NRL season.

Coach Matthew Elliott says Mannering brings much to the side, and will hold the reins for a fourth season, since first taking up the job in 2010.

He'll hold the job for another year, with the help of key players, like returning club member, Thomas Leuluai.

They, along with Sam Rapira, Feleti Mateo and others, have welcomed the young guns and will no doubt teach them along the way.

One of many rising stars is Harry Siejka, who joins the club from the Penrith Panthers.

These intense training sessions keep the side focused, but Mannering will take time out next week to join the Kiwis in Manly, Australia, to discuss the squad's vision for this year's Rugby League World Cup defence.
