Talisa Kupenga

Hei tā te Kaimāngai o Harcourts ki Maungawhau a Kirstin Elia, “All funds will be going to Te Puea marae to help assist with the clothing, feeding and obviously housing some of the people that have been living in cars. So we saw that as a worthy cause because it helps many people not just one or two.”

Hīkaka ana Te Kura o Maungawhau i te taenga mai o te Whare Wēnēti.

“It's really nice and it would be good for the homeless children to play in at the marae,” hei tā Matthew Radcliffe.

“The best part of it is how much space is in it so even we can stand up in it,” hei tā Zain Ismail.

“It would be a real cool place to just draw and that kind of stuff,“ hei tā Miranda Wiseman.

E toru ngā whare pēnei kua hangaia e Harcourts kia tuku ai he pūtea tautoko ki ngā rōpū āwhina. Ināianei ka whakapaipai ngā tamariki i te whare nei i mua i te hokotanga atu hei pūtea mō Te Puea Marae.

“We're going to paint some bush scenes for New Zealand and some dots and some other patterns,” hei tā Hannah Ellis-Ducobu

“It would be cool if we had some koru and some different languages of words like welcome and stuff,” hei tā Miranda.

Hei tā te Kaimāngai o Harcourts ki Maungawhau a Lorraine Marshall, “What we'd like to happen as well is perhaps through the money that was raised if there was a corporate out there that it would want to offer to give it back to the marae for the children there.”

Kua whakatūria he wharangi givealittle mō te marea kore hoko. Mena he pātai tera waea atu ki a Harcourts Mt Eden mo nga nekeneke.
