Nanaia Mahuta is well ahead in the Hauraki Waikato Electorate with just over 56% of votes counted so far. Nanaia is way ahead on almost 6000 votes, with Susan Cullen on just over 2000 votes and Angeline Greensill is just over 1500 votes.
We crossed to our reporter Tamati Tiananga at Nanaia Mahutas base where he got the chance to speak with the fairly confident Labour candidate.
