Native Affairs – Destry’s Destiny

Fifteen years ago Destry Puia moved from Palmerston North to Australia with $300 in his pocket, a credit card and a whole heap of determination, and hope of finding a better life for himself and his whānau.

With a real passion for the arts and theatre, Destry knew it wasn't going to be easy to try and crack it in another country but he did, and is now managing one of Australia's largest arts centres’.
