In April, this year New Zealand troops returned home from Afghanistan ending a 10-year deployment in the war torn country.
In that decade, we spent $80mil on development projects and 10 soldiers, mostly Māori, lost their lives.
So what did we achieve in our time in Afghanistan? Did we make any difference at all?
