Native Affairs - The Edge

Ben Severne is an experienced bushman who lives on the shores of Lake Taupō.

Two weeks ago he went hunting in the forest but fell down a waterfall and got stuck on a ledge the size of a car, below him a 50 metre drop.

The 48-year-old spent three freezing nights trapped less than a kilo-metre from home.  If he hadn't been found on the fourth day, he doubts he'd be alive.
