The three leading Hauraki-Waikato candidates continue to battle it out for the hearts, minds and votes of the rohe in the Native Affairs – Kōwhiri 14 Māori Electorate Debate special.

Before revealing the second set of Māori Television Reid Research poll results, Mihingarangi Forbes took us to the heart of Kīngitanga to Ngāruawāhia to talk politics.

In the second set of poll results we asked voters, have iwi settlements made a difference to you and your whānau?

36% of respondents say 'Yes', settlements have made a difference for them and their whānau, while 59% say 'No' they haven't, while 5% of respondents don't know.
