Native Affairs - Kōwhiri 14, Waiariki Part 3

The Native Affairs - Kōwhiri 2014 debate for three of the candidates competing for the Waiariki electorate continues, and Te Ururoa Flavell of the Māori Party, Annette Sykes of the MANA Movement and Rawiri Waititi of the Labour Party are live in studio with Mihingarangi Forbes.

Semiramis Holland continues her trek around Waiariki and goes deep into Te Urewera to visit the community of Ruatahuna, as a result she asks candidates what they intend to do to deliver basic needs to remote communities like Ruatāhuna?

In the second set of the Māori Television Reid Research poll results we asked, if the Māori Party held the balance of power, would you prefer they went into partnership with a National-led or Labour-led coalition?

26% want a National-led coalition, while 63% would want the Māori Party to form a Labour-led coalition, 11% responded they don't know or other.
