Native Affairs - Labour's new leader David Cunliffe

Over the weekend, David Cunliffe was elected as the new leader of the Labour Party having unsuccessfully challenged for the leadership back in 2011.

This time around Cunliffe managed to beat off a strong campaign from List MP Shane Jones and Wellington Central MP Grant Robertson to replace David Shearer as Labour's leader.

Earlier this evening, Mihingarangi Forbes spoke to Mr Cunliffe and asked who he considered to be Labour's Senior Māori MP following the passing of Parekura Horomia.
