Native Affairs - Luana Williams Panel

Luana Williams was 25 years old when she disappeared from her Tauranga home on June the 5th 1986. Her exit was swift, leaving behind her cigarettes, passport and purse.

So what happened to Luana Williams and did Police do their best to find out? Or is the handling of her case another example of systemic failures within the New Zealand Police Force?

Both Bryan Bruce from the television series Investigator and North and South magazine journalist Mike White have independently investigated and reported on Luana Williams case and come to their own conclusions.

They join Mihingarangi Forbes in studio along with Auckland University, Criminal Law Lecturer Kylee Quince.
