Native Affairs - Standing Tall

When Jacqui Barrett's son turned six he was already taller than his mum. Jacqui from Ngāti Maniapoto is a dwarf although she prefers the term "little person."

She's a motivational writer, blogger and public speaker. Just a few years ago Jacqui was using alcohol, drugs and sex to cope with a string of failed relationships and depression but she's confronted her demons and moved on.

This is her remarkable story which she also shares in her new book “Just Do You.”
