Native Affairs Summer Series – The Tan Man

Kane Pāhau is a single dad who moved across the ditch eight years ago and now lives in the famous surfing and sunbathing suburb of Sydney's Bondi Beach.

He leads a busy life, doing a bit of everything, from café worker, to caterer, to musician, to all round good guy.  But, it's another part-time job that he has that has him more than a little whakama.

Among other things, he's the brown boy helping many others brown-up, literally! Hold on to your socks, here's Mātai Smith with this rather revealing story of an enterprising Māori boy doing good in the big smoke.
