Across Tamaki, window washers are having the squeeze put on them. Ten people are currently being prosecuted for washing car windows at traffic lights.

But, it hasn't deterred the first person to be convicted under the year-old Council bylaw. Mansell Dickson, is a 25-year-old South Auckland father of two, who says washing windows is a dream vocation that brings hope and pride to his whānau.
