No Kiwis listed in Paris terror attack casualties

Just over 24 hours have passed since a series of organised attacks hit Paris yesterday and the casualty list continues to rise with a reported 129 dead and 352 injured.

According to the New Zealand Embassy no New Zealanders have been listed among the deceased or on the injured list and authorities are asking residence to limit movements, listen to local authorities and monitor the media.  MFAT’s France travel advice has also advised against non-essential travel to Paris.

Reports are claiming ISIS has applauded the attacks and one of the terrorists is believed to have entered the country through a Syrian refugee passport.

In an action of peace and sympathy towards France, world landmarks across the world have embraced the French colours of blue, white and red which include the Eye in London, New York Empire State building, Sydney’s Opera House and our very own Sky Tower and Auckland Museum.
