NZ First focuses on Māori needs heading into Elections

Some might say NZ First's 21 years in politics has been bittersweet.  However as NZ First looks towards the coming Elections, its leader is paying much attention to Māori.

According to Winston Peters, “Out there are real Māori men and women and families seriously suffering a need of work and jobs and a decent job in their country, they're the ones coming back because they’ve got a voice in parliament and you’re looking at it”

Māori within the party couldn't agree more with their leader.  Bill Gudgeon says, “This party is a party that's talked about by all New Zealanders, because we have solutions for New Zealanders, and we don't stray from that, that's why.”

Peters would not disclose how many policies he'll be announcing tomorrow, but admits they will be announcing its policies over the coming eight weeks in the lead up to the Elections.
