NZ Hip hop teams return with four medals

NZ hip hop teams will return home with four medals from the World Hip Hop Champs held last night in Las Vegas. In the Youth section, the 2011 and 2012 defending champs, Bubblegum, came second.

In the Varsity section, Canada again scooped the gold and Sorority placed third. In the Adult section, it was a close race between NZ and Canada with Identity finishing second.

However, the Royal Family was successful in defending its world championship title in the Mega crew division.

More than 2500 people from 43 countries have been competing for titles since Saturday, including 13 crews from NZ, two of which were defending world titles.
