NZ Men's Doubles through to ASB Classic Quarter Finals

The New Zealand men's pairing of Marcus Daniell and Artem Sitak sent the top seeded double pairing packing at the ASB Classic.

The start couldn't get any sweeter for the New Zealand mens pairing as they displayed a good game of tennis in front of a packed home crowd.

It was an early break at two-love and still Artem Sitak and Marcus Daniells had momentum on their side.

Giving the Colombians a run for their money.  The Kiwis were still in control, breaking the Colombians' serve at three-love.

Then began a long-running rally with two points left before the break.

The match was starting to even out in the second break.  It only took a few moments for the Colombians to get back into the match.

The two teams were tied in the second break, but the New Zealanders needed another point to step closer to a win.

The Kiwis won the match 6-2, 7-6.

There are plenty more battles to go, with New Zealand men's singles Michael Venus up against Benoit Paire later tonight.
