NZ Open Men's still in line for Touch World Cup final

The NZ Open Men's team went down 6-2 to Australia in their round-robin clash.  But NZ is still in line to make tomorrow's Touch World Cup final.

The NZ team have played two games against Fiji and Samoa and will play one more against France tonight.  They need to win two of those three games for a chance to make the finals.

Captain Mita Graham says he's aware his side still has a lot to work to do to have any chance of making the final tomorrow.

Australia scored first, and continued their momentum with another try to push the score to 2-0.

NZ finally scored points in the 12th minute.

But NZ couldn't shut down Australia, allowing them to score and push the score line to 3-1.

The home team was successful again with another two tries in succession.

In the 20th minute, NZ picked up their second try.

Australia continued their dominance with another try to win 6-2.

To add, there will be huge interest in the men's 40s, where veteran Peter Walters will be playing, he's played in every world cup since 1988.
