Manurewa community and families of Manurewa Marae today celebrated a new partnership between a Marae-based youth programme, "Taiohi Whai Oranga" and the ASB Community Trust.
Manurewa Marae has long been involved in helping local youth to excel and succeed in life, and they're very appreciative of this new partnership, and believe this is what's needed for the leaders of today
According to Deidre Otene, “Taiohi Whai Oranga will survive for another five years thanks to this partnership.”
The trust will be investing about $400,000 a year to support the programme and build our leaders of the future today and through to 2019.
