A post mortem examination will take place in Auckland today on the body of a man recovered from a hot pool in Kuirau Park, Rotorua, yesterday afternoon.
In a statement released this morning, Police say they are not yet able to confirm the man’s identity and don’t expect to be able to do so until Thursday.
Enquiries are continuing and the death is still being treated as unexplained at this stage.
Police say no further comment will be issued until the man’s identity is confirmed.
