Protestors against TPPA expected to turn out in force at signing today

Protestors against the TPP are expected to turn out in force today at Aotea Square as the officials gather in Auckland city to sign the controversial trade agreement.

Prime Minister John Key says there will be tight security around TPP officials for the signing.  All eyes will be on New Zealand with over 100 media outlets covering the signing.

Extra security measures have been put in place and roads in the city are expected to be closed off for a period when the march begins at midday.

134 media from around the world will cover the signing of the TPP.  For each of the 12 countries involved the focus will be on the direct impact the TPP will now have on  each country.
