Raiders Hammer the Warriors In The Naki

The Warriors suffered a 38-12 loss at the hands of the Canberra Raiders at Yarrow Stadium.

Blake Austin opened the scoring with a strong run, Joseph Leilua was on the right end of a lucky rebound and Jarrod Croker was too good for some weak defence to score the third try, Croker slotted all three conversions and two penalty goals to take the half time score to 22-0.

The second half started with the Warriors scoring through Shaun Johnson, but the first half sloppiness returned when David Fusitua knocked on gifting Josh Papalli a try, soon after Josh Hodgson and Edrick Lee both scored off the back of Warriors errors.

The final points of the match were given to Blake Ayshford who picked up a loose ball after Thompson was stripped by the Raiders and the bunker gave the green lights.

The Warriors have the bye next weekend before the tough task of hosting the Brisbane Broncos.
