The whereabouts of a 70-year-old Kawhia man who went missing over a week ago is still unknown.
It has been an agonizing wait for the family of missing man Trevor Smith. However they are still optimistic about finding him, despite him being missing for more than a week.
Hamilton police have obtained CCTV footage of 70-year-old Trevor, which shows him at Pak N Sav near Clarence St last Sunday, but police are still exploring all options.
The Hamilton police have no indication that he may still be alive or dead. The Police have now narrowed the search down to an area near SH3 just out of Hamilton.
