Māori teachers are welcoming government support to help push te reo Māori in schools following yesterday's budget announcement.
But Tawhirimātea Williams from the Te Wānanga Takiura o Ngā Kura Kaupapa Māori says more focus needs to go towards the development of Māori teachers.
