Newcomers hailing from Ngāti Hine, Waerenga Te Kaha have come to the Maranga Mai E Te Iwi regional competition to support and uphold the prestige of this event.
Tutored by Tātai Henare, a long-time exponent of Māori Performing Arts in Te Tai Tokerau at junior, secondary school and senior level, Waerenga Te Kaha entertained the full house at ASB Kensington Stadium.
