A descendant of Tainui and Ngāpuhi will take the stage at the 2014 IFBB Pro in Sacramento, America. Brie Tawhai will compete at her second world event representing NZ in the Pro Bikini tall division.
She's been New Zealand's No.1 female for bikini tall class for some time.
She turned to eating healthy for a better and healthier lifestyle alongside her partner Jeremy Tavaga. Tawhai inspired Jeremy to also compete and is also NZ's top competitor.
The IFBB Pro in Sacramento, America is their second international competition. They are both qualified trainers.
They have just departed for Sacramento for the two-day competition from October 30 to November 1.
