In Zone Project to open its doors for girls in 2015

Work is underway on the new InZone Project (IZP) for girls in Auckland, an extension on the current InZone hostel where Māori and Pacific boys are housed and schooled at Auckland Grammar.

Over the weekend, a working bee was held to clear away shrubs in preparation for the new intake of students due next year.

The 15 girls to be housed at the hostel in 2015 will be schooled at Epsom Girls Grammar.  IZP Director Terrance Wallace says this is just the beginning of their plans for the girls.

Wallace is also running a big fund-raising campaign on social media and on YouTube to raise money to get the new hostel ready.
